The beginning of our Adventure...

Ok, I know I have been horrible at updating the blog since the wedding, but I'm trying to get it together :) We don't have internet (or cable-ugh can't watch the BYU games!) at our house yet, so bare with me (I have to go to the library to get internet). We are supposed to get it set up Saturday, yay! Here are the pictures we took on our way to North Carolina, moving in, and a few since we've been here. It's been almost 3 weeks since we moved into our place, and I'm still trying to get used to all the changes. I miss everyone very much!!! :)

So the night before we left, the rope wasn't long enough to fit around the tire, so we had to go buy a new one. Then when we went to leave Tuesday morning, we had a flat tire! It's a good thing the problems happened before we left and not on the road!

Andy needed sunglasses because the sun was shining in his eyes, so he wore mine :) FABULOUS lol
Wyoming...
Entering Nebraska...

Nebraska...

More Nebraska...

Entering Iowa..
Entering Missouri...

Corn Fields all the way from Nebraska to Virginia!!
Kansas City, Missouri...

Stopping to eat at Big Boy Hamburgers in Independence, Missouri. We also did a little exploring there, then got stuck in traffic between Independence and St. Louis for forever!!

On the road again...

St. Louis!! This is the view from our hotel room! AMAZING!
Since we got to St. Louis so late on Wednesday night, the arch was closed, so we decided to go in the morning when it opened.

Well, we ended up waiting an hour outside because the brochure was wrong, and they weren't open yet! We met a really nice guy in the same boat, so we visited with him :) Andy loved St. Louis!!

This is us inside the tiny round elevator, going to the top of the arch!
See...Tiny...

The view from the top :) It was awesome!

That building was our hotel. We stayed at the Casino Queen. Their cafe was horrible, but the room was great!!!

Andy took this from the train on our way back to hit the road again.

If you haven't noticed the dead bugs on the windshield in our road pictures, you can't miss it in this one! It was so bad, we couldn't see! Andy had to use his soldier muscles to scrub them off lol. It was gross.

Entering Kentucky! Finally...

Lexington, Kentucky...

More Kentucky...

Entering West Virginia!!

Mmm, he's so good looking :)
And I'm bored..

We ended up staying in Charleston, West Virginia that Wednesday night. We stayed at the Marriot, and it was awesome. Their food was so good, and the bed was so comfy. So this is us leaving there Thursday morning in thick fog. From this part, through Virginia was the prettiest of the whole drive.

Now in Virginia, we missed the sign. :( It was right after the tunnel and the camera went stupid.

The weigh station sign! It was the first one open the WHOLE way! We had to get weighed to show Andy's commanding officer.

A substitute for the sign, a Virginia flag...

Lots of tunnels, and lots of toll stations!

Now in North Carolina! We missed that sign too, and didn't take many pictures of it.
Entering Fayetteville...

Entering our Apartments... We made it!

Moving in... ugh... what a mess. Thanks to Seizert for helping. By the way this is the living room, under all that :)

Kitchen

Well, everything is pretty much in it's place now. Here is the living room. Now we just need to find me a job, and everything will be set. :) I go bored out of my mind while Andy is at work. We're hoping he has a long weekend this weekend, so that will be good! Hope you are all doing well. We miss and love you!!!

Amanda... you are so far away -- it seems even more real with all the pictures. But I know from lots of experience that prayers can travel vast distances, and ours are definitely with you guys!

Cute apartment -- hope it starts to feel like home soon!
